Ping pong or also known as table tennis official rules are quite easy to learn, and this sport is a rewarding game for many people. In this game you will be needing a ping pong table that has a short net across the center and white markings. The markings are only used when playing doubles ping pong, and can be disregarded for singles games. On a singles game, a player can serve from anywhere on the table. While on a doubles game, a player must serve from his or her right to its opponents right side. Always remember that the table must have an even surface, and the ping pong paddles must have a rubber surface. While sandpaper surfaced paddles are seen occasionally, these are prohibited by ping pong rules.
The game begins when a coin is flip in a ping pong game, this is to determine which player will serve first. The players face each other on opposite sides of the table. And when the ball is served the other player or its opponent must hit the ball. The ball is passed from the two sides of the table. Each player has a chance to serve five throws at a time. But whosoever breaks the chain by missing the ball or placing it outside the table loses points to the opponent. And which player scores 11 points first wins the game. The matches usually are played in best of 3 or 5 games.
