Making the most of your blog in your small business marketing

If you have a blog as part of your small business web marketing strategy plan, are you using it as much as you could be? There’s a great chance that half a dozen things came up today that could be used as content for a blog post. It’s okay to tell stories with your blog posts, but try to be careful not to cross any lines by sharing too much personal information. Remember that your posts will do very well in Google so you want to be careful about what you’re putting out there for the entire world to see.

When you give your post a title, try to be creative. Make it impossible for someone to ignore your post. Include some of your keywords throughout the body of your post if you can. Also don’t be afraid to link back to other sites or blogs in your own post. The search engines like that.

Make sure to take some time to comment to those who comment on your blog. Keep those conversations going; that’s what separates a blog from a website.
